1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting quotes, or executing business agreements with SIGNSTAR Visual Art & Signs (operating under Pricepride Marketing Inc.), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Payment Policy & Standard Contract Terms

All projects signed and approved for fabrication are bound by the following terms of payment:

  • Deposit: A non-refundable **50% deposit** of the total estimated project cost is required prior to the commencement of shop drawings, permit applications, or fabrication.
  • Final Payment: The remaining **50% balance** is due immediately upon the completion of installation or final delivery/inspections.
  • E-Transfer Details: Electronic transfers should be sent to info@signstar.ca.
  • Credit Card Surcharge: All payments made via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) will incur a **3% surcharge** to cover merchant processing fees.
  • Cancellation: Once raw materials are ordered or custom fabrication has commenced, the 50% deposit cannot be refunded due to changes in design scope or change of mind.

3. Taxation Policies

In accordance with provincial and federal tax regulations in British Columbia:

  • All transactions are subject to the Canadian federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) at a rate of 5%.
  • Provincial Sales Tax (PST) at a rate of 7% will be applied where applicable to material sales, signage fabrication, and goods delivered, in compliance with BC Ministry of Finance guidelines.

4. Product Warranty

We provide a **1-year limited warranty** on all custom-fabricated signage products. This warranty covers structural integrity, paint adhesion, fabrication defects, and LED lighting module failure under normal operating conditions. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from extreme weather anomalies, vandalism, structural modifications by third parties, or power grid fluctuations.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any separate contracts for project completion are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **Province of British Columbia** and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal action or dispute arising out of or related to these terms shall be filed and resolved exclusively in the courts located in **Port Coquitlam, British Columbia**.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these terms of service for its website and projects at any time without notice. By using this website or engaging in business with us, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Service.
